SOUNDS OF ROCK RETURNS TO THE BUNDABERG REGION, WITH A STACKED LINE UP FEATURING HOODOO GURUS, RICHARD CLAPTON, KILLING HEIDI, DRAGON, GANGGAJANG & MORE – Saturday 7TH May 2022
After a sell-out inaugural festival in 2021 SOUNDS OF ROCK returns, with a new venue and an impressive new line up. The Sounds of Rock Festival will take place on Saturday 7th May 2022 at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct – and will feature some of the biggest names in Australian Music!
The stacked line up boasts performances from Australian Rock royalty and Hoodoo Gurus and Australian Rock favourites Killing Heidi, Richard Clapton, Dragon, Boom Crash Opera, Glenn Shorrock, Ganggajang, Eurogliders and local talent Matthew Monroe
“We we’re blown away with the support for this event, selling it out in our first year,” says NUI Events spokesperson Trevor Sands. “Our plan was always to make this a yearly highlight for the region and we can’t wait to see everyone having the time of their lives again at this one!
NUI Events and all stakeholders want everyone to know that Safety is their number one priority, and all involved will be working closely to make sure all guidelines and regulations are in line with State and Federal Government Restrictions to provide a festival in a COVID-safe way.
Trevor went on to say “We are committed to bringing major and quality events to the Bundaberg region, that may boost the tourism economy. We live in a beautiful part of the world and the region deserves events like this. It’s so encouraging to see the support of our event. We’ve invited some of the best artists in the country and can’t wait to put on an incredible show for all the Bundaberg region music-lovers!”
